Dudes and dudettes:
First, if you're into this whole Asian stuff and like to submit Asian-themed artworks, good for you! But if you're gonna use Chinese characters/kanji/whatever, effing do your research first. Don't use random characters because you feel like it, you have no idea what they mean and the potential for embarrassment is enormous. And it really isn't cool to ask people, "Anyone know what those characters on my drawing mean?" You drew it, you should know. If you happened to write "My mom is a stupid egg" for the entire world to see, wouldn't you like to know before you hit that submit button?
Second, what's up with people labeling their artworks carelessly? If I type "Japanese", I don't like to see random, obviously Korean/Chinese/Thai stuff popping up. If I type "hanfu", I'm not gonna appreciate it if I get works featuring kimono. Stop being a hit-whore and litter your keywords field with un-related words just so your artwork can show up more often.
Kimono does not equal to hanfu.
[link]Japanese is not Chinese/Korean/Thai/Vietnamese/what-have-you.

To end this post on a positive note, I'm lovin' a lot of cutsey artworks these days.
"But mommy, bunnies don't eat grass. The songs always say they eat carrots and veggies!" << me when I was 6 years old, true story. -_-;;
