Dudes and dudettes: First, if you're into this whole Asian stuff and like to submit Asian-themed artworks, good for you! But if you're gonna use Chinese characters/kanji/whatever, effing do your research first. Don't use random characters because you feel like it, you have no idea what they mean and the potential for embarrassment is enormous. And it really isn't cool to ask people, "Anyone know what those characters on my drawing mean?" You drew it, you should know. If you happened to write "My mom is a stupid egg" for the entire world to see, wouldn't you like to know before you hit that submit button? Second, what's up with people labeli

Hey you know, the "Collections" beta feature is actually really really cool. I love being able to organize my favorites into folders. And yay for journal CSS! In other news, my transition to Adobe Illustrator is going rather well. Now I can do artworks entirely in Illustrator. I'm still mostly clueless when it comes to the program's non-pen tool related features, but at least I'm starting to find my way around. I've been a user of Paint Shop Pro since 1999. Back then, the main reason I stuck to PSP was that it was less resource-intensive. If I had tried to run Adobe Photoshop on my old computers, Photoshop would have crashed them spectacularly. But even after I upgraded my computers, I found it extremely difficult to switch to Adobe's products. PSP has an incredibly intuitive, easy-to-figure-out user interface, while Adobe's in comparison, is freaking horrible. Once I had gotten used to the way PSP works, I despised how complicated everything was in Adobe. PSP can do around 90% of Adobe's jobs, is easy to use, and combines raster and true vector r
