I've been a user of Paint Shop Pro since 1999. Back then, the main reason I stuck to PSP was that it was less resource-intensive. If I had tried to run Adobe Photoshop on my old computers, Photoshop would have crashed them spectacularly.
But even after I upgraded my computers, I found it extremely difficult to switch to Adobe's products. PSP has an incredibly intuitive, easy-to-figure-out user interface, while Adobe's in comparison, is freaking horrible. Once I had gotten used to the way PSP works, I despised how complicated everything was in Adobe.
